Website accessibility services
Make your website work for everyone.
I help small businesses find and fix accessibility barriers at the source—without overlay widgets or an unnecessary redesign.
Selected accessibility work
No shortcuts
Accessibility is a quality of your website—not a layer on top of it.
Automated scans are useful, but they do not tell the whole story. I combine them with manual review, keyboard testing, and direct inspection of the front-end code.
The result is a site that works better for people using screen readers, keyboards, zoom, and other assistive technologies—and a codebase your team can keep improving.
How I can help
Practical accessibility support, scoped to your site.
Start with a focused audit, a remediation sprint, or a complete site review. I’ll help define the right level of work before we begin.
-
Accessibility audit
I scan representative pages with multiple tools, test keyboard behavior, and inspect the code to separate meaningful barriers from automated noise.
-
Source-code remediation
I fix issues in themes, templates, components, and content—where the problems actually live—instead of adding an overlay widget.
-
Validation & reporting
I retest the work, document before-and-after findings, and can provide a screen-reader walkthrough so you can see how the experience improved.
-
Ongoing support
I can train your team, review new content, and handle follow-up fixes so accessibility stays part of the way your site is maintained.
Results that can be explained
Better scores are useful. Fewer barriers are the goal.
Every site is different, so I can't guarantee a number. Over 95% of past clients end up with scores within the remediation goal.
Remediation outcome goals
One representative project after source-level remediation. Results vary by site and test conditions.

Good questions
Before we get started.
Will remediation change the way my site looks?
Most fixes can preserve the current design. Some barriers—such as low contrast or missing focus states—may need a small visual adjustment. I will flag those changes before making them.
Can you guarantee ADA compliance?
No developer can provide a legal guarantee. I can identify and remediate accessibility barriers, test against recognized WCAG criteria, and document the work. Accessibility also needs ongoing attention as a site changes.
Do you use an accessibility overlay or widget?
No. I work in the source code, templates, components, and content so the improvements are part of the website itself.
What do I receive at the end?
Deliverables depend on scope, but can include completed code changes, a before-and-after summary, test results, a screen-reader walkthrough, and guidance for your content team.
